Round 1 is over... it did not go very smooth to say the least.
The self voter list was never revealed, results are based off the current poll.

Upon realizing the number of voters, number of participants, and self voters, there will be four rounds
Round 2 will be composed of participants with a score of 2 or higher which leaves us 8 contestants.
The way this contest will play out has been finalized. There will be no other changes in the way this contest runs.

Good for you for doing what needed to be done. Snakebite's organization of the first one was an embarasment to COG. This one is much better and should replace the first one. If anyone tries to take you down for doing this, I'll support your side.

Its not easy keeping a whloe organisation on track. Especially when you have a huge contest to run that has to please every single member!

You should have atleast asked Snakebite if you could create a new thread. He might have been working on fixing the one that was made!

I know he forgot a lot of people, but this is a big contest with a lot of data. Its easy to make mistakes - were all human.

Just give him some time. You don't know what he's going through, maybe he has homework or something important to do. Just cut him some slack.

And why is there a R.O.B above the COG logo? I know your in love with the robot, but in a contest you call "Serious" is it really nessicary?

Also, why is this so serious? The contests should just be for fun!

The ROB is just Newb's joke and isn't supposed to be that serious. This contest isn't supposed to be that serious but it should at least be competant. Snakebite is probably releived at this point that he doesn't need to deal with it anymore.

I admit that we got a bit hostile towards Snakebite and I apologise but I think Newb running this contest is a good thing.

Seeing as I'm clearly not needed here anymore, instead of posting the website tomorrow, I'm posting it today, tonight actually.

I made a post stating the flaws and requested them be repaired.

I made a post in which I went through the effort to account for all of the contestants, ensured the gallery links for each functioned as intended.

I even pointed out the three users that were neglected from the polls.

All he needed to do was copy+paste my gallery links and add the neglected contestants.

He logged on and the one change that was made before he logged offline was adding abuawwad and sykhotic v2 to the poll. (hiro tdk was still neglected and links remained broken)

The concern I had was that this is indeed the biggest contest on the forums.
Prizes are almost equal to that of the minion.
And.... IT WAS TO END TOMMORROW.

The contestants were not given fair representation and the poll already had votes.

Thats why I did this, decided to re-make it.

I was a bit steamed about the situation when it first arised, still am a bit to be honest!
Ive settled a bit though

Snakebite is not neccessarily a villian.
He may have simply felt a bit rushed and with lots going on, he had thrown this contest together rather quickly to meet deadlines, it is a bit understandable.

As far as I am concerned hes still head of C.O.G. if he feels he needs to apply any changes to this thread he can do so.

I just want to say though seeing as this is the biggest C.O.G. contest on the forums lets make it memorable, and enjoyable.
