The auto-refuel only gives you a little bit.  I use replenishers now, but what I was doing before I got them was getting out of the car, walking away until it was no longer highlighted yellow, then holding down 'Y'.  That puts you back in a fully refueled car.  Fully fixed too, if had taken any damage before.  You can also pause, select "Change vehicle" and then choose what you were already driving.  Same result.

Wow I should of thought of that ages ago. Oh well know I have super fuel and stuff im alright but handy to know. Also another way you can repair a broken part of vechile is getting out and lifting it with the wrench and pressing 'X' which puts it on the vechile much quicker than driving and pressing RB Also put a Robofix on he obviously is a Robot and helps fix

If you have all those, then you should be able to buy replenishers from Humba by now.  They work on a percentage basis, which means the more fuel you carry, the more fuel per second you get back when they go to work.  My jet (see sig) has 4 small engines and 3 large ones.  2 replenishers working on 2 super fuel tanks more than keep up with the consumption at full throttle.

Well, your question about refueling has been answered. As for repairing it without having to get out and walking away so you can spawn it with Y.... Just use those part that repairs damaged parts of your vehicle. I am not sure what the name of it is, but it looks kinda like Mumbo. Also, be aware that it has a high weight and therefore should only go on light weight or fast vehicles.

Or more preferably heavy ones. Usually fighters are heavy and gunned down so they go slow. This makes it so they need to be repaired. The opposite is said for quicker vehicles. Their agility is their protection. BTW I THINK (key word, think) it's called an Auto-Fix/Repair.
