Any rule breaks will be dealt with swiftly and painfully. Each violation will be handled on a case by case basis but if violations persists, and depending on how serious the offence was, you are liable to be banned for either a temporary period of time or permanently.
General Community Rules
Spam – No, we do not want to buy cheap mobile phones, games, double glazing, utilities, shoes, t shirts, cars, TVs, animals, dinosaurs etc. I also do not want to know about your website, services, company, organisation, or business idea. Spam advertisers will be banned.
Do not reply to any spam thread. Please leave it to the moderators.
Thread Searches – To avoid duplicate threads, please make use of the search function before creating new threads.
Impersonating a Moderator or Rare Employee – This is strictly prohibited.
No Flaming or Trolling – Verbally attacking other members of these forums, or goading others into making such an attack, is strictly against the rules. If you disagree with someone, do so gracefully. This advice on arguing correctly may help.
Bumping Threads – Avoid bumping threads which have been inactive for a long time unless it is relevant. Bumping threads to gain more responses is also not allowed.
The use of the word Newbie, Noob etc – The word newbie and all its different variations are banned.
Locked Threads – Do not make threads asking why a thread has been locked. An explanation will be given in the final post of the locked thread. Contact a moderator if you have any questions relating to this.
Artificially Raising Post Count - Please do not spam or do a massive post run in numerous threads just to increase your post count. If you're posting only to increase your post count it is usually quite noticeable and your posts are liable to be deleted by a moderator.
Picture or Link Only Posts – Take the time to tell us why you are posting the link or picture.
Illicit Discussions – Threads or posts discussing illegal activities will be deleted.
Inappropriate Content – We want to encourage users of all ages to use these forums so no swearing, racism, pornography, violent images, etc.
No Religion, No Politics – This is a gaming forum where we can all share our love of games, Banjo-Kazooie in particular. Discussions about these topics almost always end in tears – and by tears we mean the sour kiss of the banhammer. There are plenty of internet forums to discuss these issues – this forum, however, is not one of them.
No Bypassing the Swear Filter - If you do swear it will be automatically filtered out. Bypassing this filter will result in a ban.
Anything That Violates the Terms of Use - As always, anything that violates Rare's Terms of Use is strictly against the rules.
Forum Suggestions

Spell Check – Always make sure that you use the spell check function.
Caps Lock – We DO NOT WANT any users shouting in our nice relaxing forums. Lots of exclamation marks are also frowned upon!!!!!
Rumours – You are allowed to post rumours, but make it is clear in the thread title.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Forum Rules
