hey so if there isnt new parts in the dlc then im scrapping this game because like everyone has been hoping for new parts and noone can deny it so if rare take the pi** and dont put new parts in well thats it for me and banjo unless there is more dlc announced before i decide to sell it

And I think you'll find that the original Banjo-Kazooie was one of the greatest games of the 5th era.

Compared to today's games?  Sure, BK isn't very high on the list.  But when you put it up against other games of its time, it's a -wert- good game.  Arguably one of the best back then.  Of course it's not going to stack up very well against today's games, that would be like comparing a Barrett .50 Caliber rifle to the slingshot that they say David used to take down Goliath.  Of *course* the newer, more advanced one is going to be better.

Quick History lesson.... You do learn History don't you? Or are you still counting with your fingers and eating glue?

The 5th era of Video Games was the Nintendo 64 era. Rare worked for Nintendo in the 5th era and made many classic games.

I personally believe that the games made in the 5th era were alot better than most of the games we get now. Most games were increadbly easy ideas fashioned into great games. The 5th era had games where you'd look through a castle and jump into paintings where as now we'd be traviling the universe avoiding black holes.

Its my opinion.

You won't get any cash back or anything so you miswell keep it. You will get a max of $10 credit or cash. It's not worth it. Just take the game for what it is and not what you expected or wanted. It's a good game then.

I am on the fence.  I was really hoping for new parts, or even a new level (I know it isn't exactly like the Test-o-Track, but it is still to close and uninteresting), but besides the fact that they allow you more achievements, nothing else really appeals to me.

I might end up buying the DLC just because I made myself a promise to buy whatever the heck they would release next, just because I loved N&B so much.  I bought the game first day and obtained the first one (Banjo-Kazooie for 64) DLC code for free (w/ pre-order) and it was only $40 (or maybe $50) to begin with.  I might wait a week or so (I don't have much time being in college anyways) to see if the challenges are fun and if it is worth it.

Yeah... I'm pretty disappointed at the lack of new parts... I'll probably get it though because of the low price tag (I think I had that much lying around anyways) and hopefully the challenges are good but I'm disappointed all the same.

This doesn't ruin the game though so I'm not going to trade it out. It's not like it takes away parts. Maybe at the very least the number of more rare parts will be increased.
